APHASIA SERVICES

Group, support, and resources specifically for people with aphasia and their families.

Voices of Hope for Aphasia offers programs for people with aphasia and their families in the Tampa Bay area, to participate in life, engage in group activities, learn about aphasia, and develop a network of support. It is not speech therapy, but provides opportunities to practice speech in supported environments. Programs do not require a fee but donations are greatly appreciated.

Stickers placed on your car or home alert first responders to your critical healthcare needs when you are seriously injured and/or cannot communicate that information yourself. Request a kit here.

Aimed at alerting and preparing first responders of a possible special needs individual inside of a residence or vehicle. Caregivers or individuals with a variety of special needs can request a sticker to display on their vehicle or residence so that law enforcement, fire personnel, or EMS will know that they may need to make accommodations when interacting with the individual. COUNSELING SERVICES

Psychologists, psychiatrists, neuropsychologist, and clinical social workers who have experience working with people with aphasia and their loved ones.

Hall is a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern specializing in depression, anxiety, bereavement, grief, relationship issues, trauma- related disorders, life transitions, sports performance, and sexuality and gender issues. He has received training in aphasia and supported conversation. Hall offers a free 15 minute consultation. Services are private pay.
