Aphasia affects people of all ages.
Young men with aphasia face unique challenges due to their stage in life. Our Dudes with Aphasia group welcomes men, ages 18-50, to share experiences with people they can relate to. They provide encouragement and support to each other in issues related to:
- dependence on parents,
- dating/marriage,
- loss of independence,
- loss of employment,
- sports and hobbies,
- and more!
Our Dudes with Aphasia group meets on the first Thursday of every month at 7:00-8:00pm Eastern via Zoom. The sessions are facilitated by Dennis Ureña. All are welcome to attend.
